Red, White, and Blue Burger

 

Grab your crew because it’s time for the red, white and blue burger!

This patriotic patty will have you seeing stars with its blend of savory garlic, sweet onions, and creamy blue cheese. So juicy, so cheesy, so delicious!!

You’ll Need:

  • 4 Wonder® Classic Hamburger Buns

  • 1 lb ground chuck (16 to 20 percent fat)

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Optional toppings (lettuce, tomato, extra blue cheese, or whatever you please!)

Follow these steps:

  1. In a large bowl, place your ground beef, mustard, garlic, onions, blue cheese, water, an egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. Here’s the fun part! Use your hands to mix your ingredients. Be careful not to over-mix.

  3. Form your patties and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Time to prep your grill! Oil your grill’s grates with tongs and a paper towel dipped in vegetable oil. Before laying down your patties, your grill must be hot and well oiled. Note: No grill? No problem! Use a grill pan or a cast-iron frying pan!

  5. Season your patties with salt and pepper, and grill the burgers for about 5 minutes per side.

  6. Serve on Wonder® Classic Hamburger Buns with your favorite toppings! Feeling cheesy? Garnish with extra blue cheese.
