You’ll Need:

  • 3 Wonder® Classic Hamburger Buns (top and bottom)

  • 5 eggs

  • ¾ c of the deli meat of your choice, diced (we’re using ham)

  • 1 c of the shredded cheese of your choice (we’re using cheddar)

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Toothpicks (one per rolled omelet)

Reimagining a Favorite

We’d never suggest moving away from a classic—omelets have been around for a while for good reason! While full omelets are perfect for weekends at home, these Bun Rolled Omelets are great for eating on the go, making them perfect for breakfast on the way to school…or on the way to the living room!

Follow these steps:

1.      Start by flattening Wonder® Classic Hamburger Buns with a rolling pin.

2.      Add eggs to bowl and scramble. Next, add in your omelet ingredients (in this case, diced ham and shredded cheese).

3.      Add butter to the pan and bring to medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture.

4.      Let cook, then add Wonder® Classic Hamburger Bun on top. Flip the omelet to be bun-side down.

5.      Remove from heat, trim excess egg on sides of omelet, then roll, bun-side out. Insert a toothpick through the middle to allow the shape to hold.

6.      Let cool, remove the toothpick, and enjoy!
